TYPES OF FILLER SERVICES WE OFFER

Lip fillers

Enhance lip shape, definition, and volume with soft, balanced results that complement your natural features—whether you want a subtle refresh or a fuller look.

Smile lines

Smooths horizontal forehead wrinkles by relaxing the muscles that repeatedly crease the skin—helping you look more rested without an “overdone” appearance.

Marionette lines

Restore support around the corners of the mouth to soften downward folds that can create a tired or heavy look, helping the lower face appear more lifted and refreshed.

Hollow cheeks

Replenish lost facial volume to create healthier-looking contour and structure, improving balance and restoring a more youthful fullness to the mid-face.

Frown lines

Smooth deeper lines in the area between the eyebrows by adding subtle volume and support—ideal when lines remain visible even when your face is at rest.

Dark under-eye area

Address under-eye hollowness and shadowing by restoring volume where it’s been lost, helping the eye area look brighter, less tired, and more refreshed.

Deep nasolabial folds

Reduce the appearance of deeper folds (often called smile or laugh lines) that run from the nose to the corners of the mouth by restoring structure and softening the transition.

TYPES OF DERMAL FILLERS

Dermal fillers fall into a few families. Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, such as Juvéderm® and Restylane®, add immediate, adjustable volume for lips, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and cheeks, and can be dissolved if an adjustment is needed. Collagen-stimulating fillers, such as Sculptra® and Radiesse®, work more gradually by supporting the body's own collagen for structure and firmness over time. The specific product is selected by Dr. Srivastava based on the treatment area, your anatomy, and your goals, and reviewed with you at your consultation.

BENEFITS OF FILLERS

Long-lasting anti-aging effects.

Although the material used in dermal fillers dissolves over a few months, the collagen the body produces in response can support firmer-looking skin for longer. Maintenance treatments are an option, and Dr. Srivastava will review what's appropriate for you. Results and longevity vary.

Long-term support for skin structure

As collagen production is supported over time, many patients see continued benefit beyond the initial treatment. Dr. Srivastava can review maintenance options at your consultation.

Quick treatments with minimal downtime.

Most filler appointments take less than an hour, with minimal downtime. Most patients resume their normal activities the same day. Mild swelling or bruising is possible and typically resolves within a few days.

Compatible with different aesthetic treatments.

HA fillers are often used alongside other injectable treatments such as Botox® as part of an overall facial rejuvenation plan. Dr. Srivastava will determine what's appropriate for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do dermal filler treatments look obvious?

Not when they're done right. The goal of dermal filler treatment at MAX MD is to enhance what's already there, not change the way you look. When fillers are administered by a skilled, experienced physician, the results should look completely natural. People may notice that you look refreshed, well-rested, or more youthful, but they shouldn't be able to point to exactly why.

The key is in the approach. We take the time to assess your facial anatomy, your natural proportions, and your personal goals before a single injection is placed. Filler is added in small, precise amounts to restore volume where it has been lost, soften lines, or enhance features in a way that complements your face rather than overwhelms it.

Overfilled or "obvious" results typically come from too much product being placed at once, the wrong type of filler being used for a particular area, or treatment by someone without the proper training and anatomical knowledge. At MAX MD, our philosophy is always subtle, balanced, and natural-looking. We would rather have you come back for a touch-up than overcorrect in a single session.

If you have seen results on others that looked unnatural and are nervous about that, we completely understand. Bring those concerns to your consultation. We will walk you through exactly what we plan to do, how much product we would use, and what the outcome should look like before we begin anything.

  • Are dermal fillers reversible?

Correcting dermal filler results may be possible depending on the type of substance injected into the skin. Since most of the dermal fillers that Dr Srivastava  uses are made of hyaluronic acid, then a simple injection of hyaluronidase is enough to dissolve the fillers and correct the treatment.

  • Can dermal fillers be used to correct dynamic wrinkles?

Dynamic wrinkles come from repeated facial muscle movement. Dermal fillers can soften them, but wrinkle-relaxing treatments such as Botox® are generally more suitable for dynamic lines, while fillers are better for static wrinkles. Dr. Srivastava can recommend the right combination at your consultation.

  • Can dermal fillers be used for lip augmentation?

Yes. Lip fillers can add volume, definition, and balance to the lips while keeping a natural appearance. Dr. Srivastava will discuss your goals at consultation and recommend the right approach for the result you want.

  • How long do dermal fillers last?

The answer depends on the type of fillers injected. Some of them last for only 6-12 months while others can stay on the skin for up to 5 years. There’s no direct way to extend the length of your dermal filler, but good skincare habits and aftercare practices can affect how long they remain effective.

  • Who should not receive dermal filler treatment?

Dr. Srivastava will review your medical history and goals at consultation to determine whether dermal fillers are appropriate for you, and can discuss alternative options if not.

    • Are diagnosed with bleeding disorders
    • Are pregnant or breastfeeding
    • Are allergic to lidocaine or other ingredients of the lip filler
    • Used blood-thinning medications
    • Are under 21 years old

During your initial consultation, Dr Srivastava can determine if you are a qualified candidate for dermal filler injections. If not, we can recommend alternative aesthetic treatments that can help you achieve your beauty goals.

  • How long do lip fillers last?

Most lip fillers last between 6–12 months depending on the product used and your metabolism.

  • Will my lips look natural?

When performed with advanced technique and facial balance in mind, lip fillers enhance volume while preserving a natural appearance.

  • Is there downtime after lip filler treatment?

Mild swelling or bruising may occur, but most patients return to normal activities the same day.

  • Are lip fillers painful?

Topical numbing is used to ensure comfort, and most patients describe the treatment as very tolerable.

  • How do fillers improve marionette lines?

Dermal fillers restore volume beneath the skin, lifting and softening the folds that create marionette lines.

  • How long do marionette line fillers last?

Most fillers last between 9–18 months depending on the product used and individual metabolism.

  • What causes smile lines to deepen over time?

Smile lines deepen due to natural aging, volume loss, and repeated facial movement. Dermal fillers restore support beneath the skin to soften these folds.

  • Will filler make my face look overfilled?

When performed with proper technique, fillers restore natural contours without creating an artificial appearance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Post Treatment

  • After care tips

Avoid touching or massaging the treated area for the rest of the day. Skip strenuous exercise, alcohol, and significant heat (saunas, hot showers) for 24–48 hours. Sleep slightly elevated the first night and avoid pressing on the treated area. Mild swelling or bruising is normal and usually resolves within a few days. Contact the office with any concerns.

  • Avoid Strenuous activity

Exercises and other strenuous physical activities increase blood pressure, which puts you at risk of developing bruises near the treatment area. Most bruises take about 2 weeks to completely fade.

  • Sleep on your back for the first night

Sleep slightly elevated on your back the first night. Avoid pressing on or rolling onto the treated area while sleeping, which can shift filler and increase swelling or bruising in the first 24–48 hours.

  • Avoid heat exposure

This includes sun exposure, as well as hot environments like saunas and hot showers. The injected area might react with the heat, causing redness and irritation to show. It might also increase the blood flow on your face and promote bruising.
